Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team and ensuring continuity of services to residents.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and raise risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
- Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
Qualifications
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and other people in the home.
- Be an efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions from other team members.
- Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
- No prior experience is required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.
