This is a role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. The role involves monitoring residents' wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, supporting with medication, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job include:
- Supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident and being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans.
- Being involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Please note this role will require:
- A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
