Responsibilities
- Support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans, and update written records to reflect variations.
- Participate in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and carrying out monthly evaluations.
- Assist residents with medication administration.
- Conduct staff supervision and support staff development where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You
- Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification for care homes.
- Have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
- Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Are responsive and flexible, capable of covering a range of responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
- DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
