Shift Details: 8 am - 5:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Care Supervisors within the home, ensuring high-quality delivery of personal care to residents.
  • Act as an advocate for residents’ best interests.
  • Coordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring the planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
  • Support, guide, and develop your team members.
  • Manage equipment storage and cleaning, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme with robust auditing procedures.
  • Conduct Quality Care Spot Checks reporting on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers, and Senior Carers within the team.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in long-term care or a similar industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
  • Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

  • ADBS Disclosure check, cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check to be conducted.
