The Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare is responsible for delivering high-quality personal care to residents, contributing to the care team, and ensuring continuity of services. The role requires effective communication, initiative, and flexibility to cover various responsibilities.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Delivering high standards of personal care.
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene.
  • Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and visitors.
  • Practising safe systems of work.

Shift Details: 7 am to 8.30 pm, including weekends. This role requires female carers only.

To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required as we offer a thorough induction and training programme.

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Please note this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
