This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents, supporting the care team, and ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar care setting, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards supporting residents and staff.
Main duties of the job:
- Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
- Provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes impacting care and care plans.
- Be involved in the person-centered care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Please note this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
