Overview

Learning and Development Facilitator role covering Leeds and surrounding areas. The position focuses on driving performance and quality within Avery Healthcare homes through delivery of quality assured training to teams, ensuring a competent and compliant workforce to deliver exceptional care to residents.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions across a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics.
  • Identify learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Plan and design engaging learning courses and content.
  • Facilitate interactive induction and refresher courses (face-to-face and virtual) and accurately record training sessions in the LMS.
  • Assess learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout training.

About You / Qualifications

To be successful, you should demonstrate the following in line with Avery values (caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable):

  • Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector.
  • Experience in adult social care and related qualifications.
  • Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meeting neurodiversity learning needs.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar).
  • A UK driving licence and own transport.

Additional requirements

  • A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
