They are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Housekeeping Assistant, where you will make a positive impact on residents' lives every day.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home. You will operate according to Avery's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are met. Other responsibilities include:
- Carrying out cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring areas are well presented and maintained.
- Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are respected.
To succeed, you will live Avery values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all you do. Our ideal candidate must have:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
- Compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
- Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Please note this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
