The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Your focus as Team Leader will be to support the home management team in delivering high‑quality care by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead the person‑centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations; completing care plan audits, developing action plans and ensuring completion.
  • Assist with smooth transition of discharges from the home, including documentation and medication, and keep the next of kin fully informed where appropriate.
  • Monitor the well‑being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care planning, ensuring that changing needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Practice safe systems of work across tasks and the moving and handling of residents, assessing risks and being mindful of personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors and staff.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a senior position with the resident group.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the manager’s absence.
  • DBS disclosure check (cost covered by Employer).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
