Join Avery Healthcare as a Senior Care Assistant – Nights at Acacia Mews Care Home in Hatfield. You will support the care team in delivering high standards of personal care in a safe, compassionate, innovative and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, noting changes and ensuring care plans are updated and records amended accordingly.
- Assist in person‑centred care planning, present monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with medication administration.
- Supervise and develop staff, responding to training needs.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors, and liaise with health and social care professionals, escalating concerns and complaints appropriately.
- Cover a range of responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, caring, respectful, honest, and accountable approach to supporting residents and staff.
- Flexible and responsive to cover various duties.

- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
