We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant at Hanford Court Care Home, Stoke on Trent, to support the care team and deliver high standards of personal care.
Key responsibilities:
- Support residents in daily personal care activities.
- Monitor and record residents' wellbeing and any changes to care plans.
- Participate in person‑centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
- Administer and manage medication requirements.
- Provide staff supervision and support staff development.
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents, families and health professionals.
Qualifications & experience:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar care environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, responsive, flexible attitude towards supporting residents and staff.
- Valid DBS disclosure (cost covered by the employer).
- Proof of UK work eligibility.
