Main duties of the job:
- As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf.
- You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
- You will also be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, as well as providing high-quality care through accurate assessment and planning.
To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must:
- Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
- Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
- Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
This role will require:
- ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
