The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare's Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton focuses on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. Main duties of the job include:

  • Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
  • Planning and submitting to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
  • Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
  • Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

  • A current valid driving licence and the ability to drive a minibus.

This role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
