They are passionate about creating enriching experiences for their residents and team, and are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant - Bank at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham.

Main duties of the job:

  • Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well‑being.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment.
  • Report any changes in residents' condition.
  • Support with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
  • Establish links with the local community.

About you:

  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the role's interaction in general well‑being of people.
  • Positive attitude toward older people and commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
  • Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
  • Willing and able to drive the company minibus.
  • Must be 25 years or older.
  • Willingness to work a 9 am - 5 pm shift and be flexible with tasks.

Additional requirements:

  • ADBDS Disclosure check, cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
