They are passionate about creating enriching experiences for their residents and team, and are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant - Bank at Silvermere Care Home in Cobham.
Main duties of the job:
- Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well‑being.
- Maintain a safe living and working environment.
- Report any changes in residents' condition.
- Support with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
- Establish links with the local community.
About you:

- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Demonstrate understanding of the role's interaction in general well‑being of people.
- Positive attitude toward older people and commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
- Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
- Willing and able to drive the company minibus.
- Must be 25 years or older.
- Willingness to work a 9 am - 5 pm shift and be flexible with tasks.

- ADBDS Disclosure check, cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
