They are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team in Cobham, delivering high-quality personal care to residents during the night shift.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be on delivering exceptional personal care to residents, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
- Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
