Overview Role: Registered Nurse - Bank Location: Beckenham
Establishes care standards as acting person in charge, standing in for the Manager when required, and supervising the care team to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
Main duties:
- Undertake nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Advise families and GPs of changes in residents’ conditions and keep them informed to support ongoing care decisions.
- Deploy and supervise the care team effectively to ensure all tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
- Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
Role requirements / About you:
- Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
- Display good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
- Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
