We are looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member to support the dining service at Chorleywood Manor Care Home, Hertfordshire. The role involves assisting residents with meals, ensuring dining areas are set and maintained, and supporting their dietary requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in choosing meal options at the time of dining.
- Ensure dining tables are set according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain the front of house cleanliness and presentation, removing dirty crockery and replenishing throughout the day.
- Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger food and fresh fruit are available and replenished in the bistro areas.
- Be aware of and accommodate residents' dietary requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
- Show compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
- Experience working in a similar setting such as a restaurant or hotel (desirable).
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (beneficial).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by employer).
