About the role at Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home, Surrey. Your focus is to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and review care plans accordingly.
  • Ensure new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Be involved in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as the key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health & social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Qualifications & experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Additional requirements:

  • DBS Disclosure check – cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
