We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to support our residents at Spencer House Care Home in Northamptonshire. You will help keep the home clean, sanitized and comfortable for residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all cleaning duties in the home according to worksheet instructions.
- Understand cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and use appropriate cleaning materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and laundry standards according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure residents’ personal space and belongings are respected and treated with dignity and respect.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, including moving & handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
- Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
- Demonstrates compassion and commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
- Ability to adapt and cover responsibilities on short notice.
Requirements:
- ADSB Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
