We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to support our residents at Spencer House Care Home in Northamptonshire. You will help keep the home clean, sanitized and comfortable for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all cleaning duties in the home according to worksheet instructions.
  • Understand cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and use appropriate cleaning materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and laundry standards according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure residents’ personal space and belongings are respected and treated with dignity and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, including moving & handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
  • Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
  • Demonstrates compassion and commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
  • Ability to adapt and cover responsibilities on short notice.

Requirements:

  • ADSB Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
