Responsibilities
- Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager as required.
- Undertake nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Advise families and GPs of any changes in condition and keep them informed.
- Supervise and deploy staff effectively within the care team.
- Provide accurate assessment and planning to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
- First level nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
- Minimum 2 years experience of relevant practice and up-to-date knowledge of care.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
- Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
Requirements
- Pass ADBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
