This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Knowle Gate Care Home in Knowle. The focus will be on supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job:
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records to reflect variations.
- Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
