The Maintenance Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare's Brentwood Arches Care Home is responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and team members. This includes resolving any maintenance concerns promptly, engaging with approved contractors, and covering all emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or systems contained within the building.
Main duties of the job include:
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents and team members.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the facilities.
- Maintaining a good standard of general upkeep for the building.
- Resolving any home maintenance concerns promptly, with a working knowledge of building systems and related regulatory requirements.
- Engaging with approved contractors when required and sourcing alternative suppliers as needed.
- Covering all emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or systems contained within the building.
- Direct line management of the Maintenance Assistant, including day-to-day supervision, objective setting, and annual reviews.
