At Avery Healthcare, we support the people who care for our residents. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated General Manager (RGN Qualified) to join the team at Braintree Mews Care Home in Braintree. The role focuses on leading a team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment while meeting regulatory requirements and business targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.
- Recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained according to occupancy and dependency.
- Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls by regularly reviewing stock.
About You:

- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Hold a current NMC.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.

- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Qualifications:
