Avery is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Care Assistant. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Main duties of the job
- Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect.
- Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and elevating any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Additional information
This role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also necessary.
