They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award‑winning team as a General Manager at their Beaconsfield Heights Care Home.
Main duties of the job:
As the General Manager, your focus will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person‑centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment, while meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets. You will be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff, acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals, and ensuring safe staffing levels and cost management.

Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high‑quality care, person‑centred care and ensuring residents receive care based on best practice.
- Being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents’ well‑being.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
About you:

- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.

- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Required additional information:
- A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
