Main duties of the job:

As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Aldridge Care Home, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services for the residents. Your key duties will include:

  • Assisting residents with their personal hygiene.
  • Recognising and escalating any clinical risks.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality.

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
