The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. This role involves receiving incoming shipments, picking and packing orders with high accuracy, and ensuring that inventory is managed effectively to support production and customer requirements.
This is an on-site role.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately according to specific requirements and shipping schedules.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely to move and organize inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting and use of warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Valid FLT license strongly preferred, conversion course required for counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
