The purpose of this role is to lead and provide support to initiatives in the plant for raw material and supplier quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is a Cramlington on-site based role with some travel to other locations required.
- Development and maintenance of supplier KPI's identifying trends and eliminating issues in a proactive manner identifying high and low performing suppliers.
- Work with suppliers to identify and lead supplier improvement projects.
- Act as the main point of contact with suppliers in relation to quality issues and complaints, coordinating sample returns and testing on site in Cramlington where required.
- Management and updating of the central external supplier claims database for Cramlington.
- Provide regular feedback to the Cramlington management team in relation to outstanding supplier claims and actions.
