A ‘hands on’ role working as part of a small team within a busy QC/packing department. Responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of quality control throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process. Key tasks include:
- Operating machines, specifically the Motion Cutter (laser) and the Bagging Machine
- Consistently maintaining high standards of Quality Control
- Finishing (cutting/counting) & packing printed products
- Ensuring check procedures are followed
- Preparing for daily dispatches ensuring correct shipping information is supplied
- Stock control
Qualifications:
- Experience in a production environment
- Team player
- Keen eye for details
- Good organisation skills
- Proactive, dynamic, being able to use initiative
- Self-motivated & reliable with a desire to learn new skills
- Abilities to work with tight deadlines remaining calm in a busy environment
