Full-time (39 hours) and part-time (30 hours) contracts available \ N
Day and night shifts to be covered on a rota basis so must be able to work both. \ N
A full UK automatic driving licence is essential, and you must be willing to drive the service vehicle.\ N

About the Role\ N
We're looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly teams across our services in Margate.\ N
You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, complex needs and mobility needs, empowering them to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals.\ N
Some of the people we support use wheelchairs, so you'll be confident providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice and independence.\ N
Our services are located in residential areas close to Margate town centre and benefit from good public transport links. A driving licence is essential so you can support people to attend appointments, enjoy activities and access their local community using the service vehicle.\ N
What You'll BeDoing\ N
No two days are ever the same. As a Support Worker, you'll:\ N
Support people to live as independently as possible and achieve their personal goals\ N
Assist with everyday tasks including cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home\ N
Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life\ N
Support people tobuild and maintain relationships with family and friends\ N
Provide dignified, person-centred personal care where required\ N
Assist people with mobility needs using appropriate equipment and safe moving and handling techniques (full training provided)\ N
Help create meaningful experiences, celebrate achievements and make every day enjoyable\ N
