We're looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly teams across our services in Margate. You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, complex needs and mobility needs, empowering them to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals. Some of the people we support use wheelchairs, so you'll be confident providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
Our services are located in residential areas close to Margate town centre and benefit from good public transport links. A driving licence is essential so you can support people to attend appointments, enjoy activities and access their local community using the service vehicle.
As a Support Worker, you'll:
- Support people to live as independently as possible and achieve their personal goals.
- Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life.
- Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.
- Provide dignified, person-centred personal care where required.
- Assist people with mobility needs using appropriate equipment and safe moving and handling techniques (full training provided).
- Help create meaningful experiences, celebrate achievements and make every day enjoyable.
