About the Opportunity
Avenue Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager to oversee a major glazing project based in St Andrews. This is a full-time, site-based role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate must be onsite full-time throughout the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the project from commencement through to successful completion.
- Oversee all daily site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
- Ensure the project remains on programme and within budget.
- Maintain excellent communication with the client and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure all work meets specification.
- Enforce Health & Safety procedures and ensure full site compliance.
- Attend and lead site meetings where required.
- Manage site documentation, reports and project records.
- Resolve site issues promptly to minimise delays.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager within the glazing industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial glazing installation and site management.
- CSCS Black Card.
- SMSTS Certification.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
