Avenue Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with our client who are a leading packaging company based in Kirkcaldy. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join the team.

Reporting in to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating counterbalance and articulated forklifts to support various aspects of the warehouse daily activities. You will also support adhoc warehouse duties as required.

Your key duties will include:

  • Drive and operate both counterbalance and articulated forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct routine pre- and post-operational checks on forklift equipment
  • Load and unload materials onto/from vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Safely stack and secure items in designated areas within the warehouse
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfil general warehouse tasks as needed
  • Any other duties required by management

To be suitable for this busy and pivotal role you will have the following key skills and experience:

  • Proven Forklift experience in a Warehouse environment
  • Counterbalance license as a minimum
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines so that orders are placed on time

In return you will receive a salary of around £30k (DOE) + excellent benefits and the hours will be Mon - Fri 2pm - 10pm.
