Our well esblished Kirkcaldy based client are looking or an Internal Sales Executive for an initial 9 month maternity contract.

This may lead to a permanent opportunity depending on business requrements.

Reporting into the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for handling inbound enquiries, managing email correspondence, processing orders, and offering product support.

Key duties will include

Answer and handle a high volume of telephone enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

Inbound enquiries will be a mix between Timber & Metal/Commercial Fencing Requests Manage the company's shared email inbox, as well as your own, ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and accurately.

Ensure opportunities and quotations are followed up in a timely manner.

Provide knowledgeable and friendly assistance to customers regarding products, pricing, and order availability.

Accurately input orders and maintain up-to-date records.

Handle complaints and follow through on customer issues to ensure satisfaction.

Liaise with internal teams (sales, warehouse, logistics) to coordinate customer needs.

Work proactively to resolve any customer-related issues quickly and effectively.

To be suitable for this busy and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:

Provent experience in a Customer Service/Sales related role Clear and confident telephone manner.

Strong written communication skills for managing email correspondence Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of calls and emails.

IT Skills including working with various systems and all Microsoft programs Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

You will receive a salary of up to £35k (DOE) + bonus + benefits.

Ideally working hours will be 730/8am - 5pm Mon-Frid but may be flexible to suit the right person.
