Our leading Global Client are looking for a Forklift Driver to join their well established team based at their Kirkcaldy site. These roles will be for a minimum of 6 months but may go permanent depending on business needs and performance.
Reporting into the Production Team leader, your key duties will include:
- Working as a Forklift Driver within the Inspection and Warehouse Department
- Driving and machine operating
- Indoor and outdoor role
- Use of a 3.5 tonne Forklift
- Moving large rolls of flooring from one area to another
- Minimal manual handling
This is a rotational dayshift and backshift role and would suit candidates with the following key skills and experience:
- Detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production setting
- A valid forklift/machine license
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Capable of handling physical tasks and manual labour when required
Competitive Pay Structure and shift pattern:
- Dayshift £13.70 ph
- Backshift £14.46 ph
There will also be the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates.
Please note that due to the location and shifts required for this role you must be locally based and if you are in Kirkcaldy be able to drive/have transport.
