The predicted salary is between 37 - 37 £ per hour.
Our clients require Thermal Insulators with Rope Access for various offshore contracts mobilising on Friday 17th July. You will be responsible for applying insulation materials to pipes, tanks, and equipment in offshore environments to maintain temperature control and prevent heat loss. You will work at heights using rope access techniques, ensuring safety and precision during installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks. Your daily activities include preparing surfaces, cutting, and fitting insulation materials, and verifying the quality of your work. You will often collaborate with other offshore personnel to ensure insulation meets project specifications and safety standards.
Skills:
- Rope Access Certification (e.g., IRATA or SPRAT Level 3)
- Qualified in Thermal Insulation Engineering
- Knowledge of thermal insulation materials and techniques
- Offshore safety training (e.g., BOSIET, HUET)
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with surface preparation and insulation fitting
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Rates:
- Level 1 / 2 Rates: £35.50 STD & £150 Mobilisation Fee
- Level 3 Rates: £38.50 STD & OT £150 Mobilisation Fee
