A well-established home care provider is seeking a Care Supervisor to support and oversee care teams across Fife. This role combines office and field-based responsibilities, ensuring high standards of care are delivered to service users while supporting and mentoring care staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with care experience and team leadership skills who is passionate about delivering quality care and developing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support care staff delivering care in the community
  • Ensure high standards of care are maintained in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct spot checks, reviews and quality monitoring within the field
  • Support with staff mentoring, coaching and development
  • Assist with care planning and service delivery across the Fife area
  • Work collaboratively with the wider care team and office staff
  • Participate in the on-call rota and work alternate weekends
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care standards

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience working in care at home / domiciliary care
  • Experience supervising or leading care staff
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Compassionate and person-centred approach to care

Desirable Experience

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience conducting spot checks, supervisions or care reviews
  • Experience mentoring or training care staff
  • Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards

Additional Information

  • Full-time position
  • Fortnightly working pattern: Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun - 07:30-19:30; Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri - 07:30-19:30
  • Mileage paid
