My client, a leading Scaffolding contractor, has an opening for a Contracts Supervisor to join their expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating with the team to assign work to scaffolding crews
- To motivate and guide the workforce
- To make sure safety standards are not only met but exceeded
- Read and interpret scaffold designs and technical drawings
- Create and amend risk assessments and method statements
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Produce material take-offs from drawings, then also manage material requests from yard to sites
- Deal directly with multiple clients and manage client schedules and programming
- Attend client pre-start and ongoing progress meetings
Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent
- Advanced Scaffold Inspection
- Temporary Works Co-ordinator
- Trained / Temporary Works Supervisor
- IOSH Managing Safely / Construction Health and Safety understanding
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility
- Computer literate
- Proven track record of problem solving and being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience. We can consider candidates on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis.
