Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team looking after projects, predominantly in East and Central Scotland. This role is pivotal to the business and requires someone with a strong civils background with proven experience in a management role. You will also ideally come from an engineering related background where you have worked your way up and have the technical knowledge to understand drawings and the administration side of the role. Your key responsibilities will be to get involved early in the project process at the estimating stage. This will give you a real understanding of the job and allow you to take it on with confidence with the ability to programme and resource it, look at valued engineering, find issues and solution etc. Working predominantly out on site, you will also be expected to go into the office for meetings and to complete administration, reports etc. Your package for this challenging and rewarding role will include a salary of up to £65k (flexibility DOE) + an excellent benefits package , training and development.
