Summary function:
The ideal Regional Sales Manager candidate is a highly motivated and dynamic sales leader who will drive business growth within the Florida region. The candidate must be able to plan, organize, and execute sales activities to meet revenue and profit objectives. This individual is a true hunter and persistent professional. A team player and a highly effective communicator with outstanding presentation skills who can build long-term relationships at the owner, architectural, design, and contractor levels to be successful. The individual shall maintain a sales territory within a territory for which they will be responsible for an established annual sales budget and shall utilize/build upon an existing dealer base and references and prospectively build new relationships to grow the business base within the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve agreed-upon sales goals within primary market segments (Healthcare/Education/Life Sciences)
- Work with internal support (Sales Coordinator) to develop, build, and track a pipeline of current and future sales opportunities.
- Salesforce can be used to track all opportunities and provide timely sales forecasts.
- Development of product standards inside key market segments to create perpetual business year over year.
- Identify all critical influencers within the architectural and design community, contracting and owner levels, and nurture these relationships.
- Build a network of preferred professional flooring contractors that will be long-term marketing dealer partners.
- Attend industry events, tradeshows, and meetings that may not be within traditional working hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the contract flooring community.
- Ability to sell a range of premium rubber products at premium pricing.
- Experience generating and maintaining high-level relationships.
- Generous Compensation package including base salary, commission and bonus.
