Avenue are seeking a team of Welder/Fabricators for workshop-based temp to permanent roles in Motherwell.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Working pattern - Monday to Thursday
  • Overtime paid on Friday, Saturday & Sunday at x1.5 and x2
  • Workshop-based roles
  • PAYE contract
  • 28 days holiday per annum

Responsibilities:

  • MIG weld heavy gauge mild steel and Hardox wear plate
  • Fabricate and assemble mixer components and structural sections
  • Read and work accurately from engineering drawings
  • Grind, cut, fit, and finish fabricated steel components
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards

Requirements:

  • Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with heavy gauge steel
  • You should be time served in Welding or Fabrication
  • You will have to pass a trades test prior to employment commencing.
