Our well established client have a new opportunity for an Accounts Administrator as they go through an exciting period of growth. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support the financial health of our organisation.
Your duties will include:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Credit control
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards
- Utilise accounting software – Sage 200 for efficient record keeping
To be suitable for this pivotal and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
