Avenue Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team based in Dunfermline.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to play a key role within an established business.
The successful candidate will be based in the Dunfermline office full-time, working closely with the wider team while also providing guidance and mentoring to a junior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project valuations.
- Assess and manage variations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce accurate cost reporting and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and administer subcontract orders.
- Review subcontract terms and conditions.
- Monitor project costs, ensuring commercial performance is maintained.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities across projects.
- Mentor and support the development of a junior Quantity Surveyor.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and commercial targets.
- Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
