We have ASD Bases located in Belmont and Wallington!
About Our School
Avenue Primary Academy is part of Cirrus Primary Academy Trust and is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion. The school takes a holistic approach to education that empowers staff to provide a varied and balanced educational diet to children based on their individual needs. Equality and diversity are promoted through a fully inclusive curriculum where children are supported to access lessons through suitable scaffolding. Further to this, therapeutic activities are woven into lessons and playtimes in addition to the statutory provision outlined in any EHCPs.
Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant in one of our ASD Bases, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support the individual needs of students with ASD. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing classroom assistance
- Implementing specialised learning strategies
- Facilitating social interactions
- Offering personalised support to ensure the academic and personal growth of each student

Employment Conditions
Employees must be based in the UK at the Bedford and Wallington locations. The Trust will not sponsor a Certificate of Sponsorship/visa. Applicants are responsible for their own immigration status.
