We are looking for an enthusiastic Production Chef to join our fast‑paced kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Communicate openly with the entire team to ensure outstanding food and service delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and offer valuable insights.
- Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and in line with brand standards.
- Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
- Set up and close down the department, including stock rotation and prep duties.
- Keep up to date with business information, promotions and new products.
- Participate in all in‑house training, e‑learning and complete assigned learning modules.
- Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation and due diligence records, and carry out daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- What your apprenticeship includes
- Full‑time on‑the‑job training delivered through work‑based learning, including face‑to‑face sessions and remote team calls with a Lifetime Learner Coach every six weeks.
- Mentorship from experienced chefs to support your development.
- Functional Skills in English and Maths (if not already achieved at GCSE level).
- Reviews every 12 weeks with the apprentice, line manager and Lifetime Learner Coach, including feedback sessions.

- Wage
£10.85 per hour for 16‑20‑year‑olds and £12.71 per hour for 21‑plus.
Training & Development
Complete the Production Chef Level2 Apprenticeship over 15 months, gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Working arrangements
Shift work, including bank holidays, evenings and weekends. Exact shifts to be confirmed. Expected duration: 1year3months.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required. Functional Skills in English and Maths are desired.
