Responsibilities
- Cover Supervisors play an important role in our school, maintaining continuity of education for our students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that the work set is understood and completed, while promoting high standards of conduct and learning.
Qualities and Requirements
- Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills within the classroom.
- Be organised and have knowledge of school routines.
- Understand the National Curriculum and have the ability to support the delivery of it.
- Be able to hold good relationships with staff, students, parents and other stakeholders.
- Be flexible across year groups and adapt to different situations where necessary.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
