Retained by an investment backed insurance MGA to source an Analyst, on a development track to Senior Analyst or Underwriter. This role will support leading figures within the transactional risks markets covering W&I, Tax and Contingent risks, and adjacent markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters with all aspects of complex transactions.
- Review, amend, and negotiate NDAs with brokers and third parties.
- Manage and organise underwriting submission documents and maintain accurate files.
- Assist in issuing NBIs (Non-Binding Indications) and policy documentation.
- Contribute to the development of pricing models and other statistical analysis.
- Preparation of reports for carriers, capacity providers, and investors.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the underwriting pipeline.
- Maintain product-related templates and documentation.
- Support underwriters in risk assessment, policy issuance, and renewals.
- Analyse submissions, financials, and due diligence materials.
- Prepare quotes, binders, and policies.
- Support product and systems development.
- Collaborate with brokers, clients, and market intermediaries.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years underwriting, insurance or financial analyst experience.
- Strong financial analytical skills, including financial modelling.
- Familiarity with specialty and transactional risks, either W&I, Tax or Contingent Risks is desirable (or other areas within broader specialty lines considered).
- Could suit a professional within the investment management or alternative asset management space.
- Bachelor's degree and relevant exposure to either legal risks, M&A, or specialty insurance or related fields.
- Hybrid role with 2 days WFH.
