We've been exclusively retained by a multi-strategy fund to find an experienced Fund Controller. The role sits in London or another key City remotely, and is ideally suited to a Fund Controller on the buy-side. The right person will have full ownership of fund accounting and financial control across credit/alternative fund structures. Responsibilities include managing reporting cycles, LP communications, administrator relationships, audits, capital activity and regulatory compliance, and helping shape the function as the firm scales.
Required experience includes:
- A senior figure with a minimum of 7 years of fund finance experience from within a buy-side environment;
- Solid background in either private credit, specialty finance, or legal assets;
- Qualified accountant, either ACA, ACCA or CPA equivalent;
- Comfortable operating at a senior level with autonomy and close to senior leadership.
The role offers a good compensation structure made up of base and bonus. Importantly, the person will have a seat at the management table alongside the executive team.
