Job Description
A specialist underwriting MGA, backed by a major capital provider, is seeking a Director, Credit Insurance to lead its credit and political risk portfolio.
Operating across transactional and specialty markets, the MGA delivers bespoke credit and political risk solutions to banks, corporates, and investors. This is a senior leadership role combining strategy, underwriting, and market development, offering the platform, autonomy, and capital strength to build a best-in-class franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting strategy for credit and political risk lines, setting risk appetite and pricing parameters.
- Develop and deliver bespoke insurance solutions across trade, structured, and financial risks.
- Oversee portfolio management, governance, and capital optimisation through the captive structure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, carriers, reinsurers, and clients.
