MISSION
The Site Manager is responsible for conducting supervision and control activities from the construction phase until the load-out. The Site Manager maintains close contact with all project stakeholders, both from RTE and the EPCI Contractor. The Site Manager reports to the Yard Operations Manager and provides updates to the A04 Project Lot Manager regarding operational progress.
Responsibilities:
- Represent RTE at daily/weekly meetings with the EPCI Contractor.
- Interface between the site team and the RTE project team in Paris.
- Supervise all intervention by RTE personnel or external parties on the site.
- Ensure compliance with site access procedures for all RTE personnel and partners.
- Ensure that current HSE conditions are respected by RTE and the EPCI contractor.
- Monitor the work of the EPCI Contractor and report yard operations to the RTE PEM Lot Manager, considering project management methods, processes, and guidelines within DPMI.
- Track the quality, HSE, cost, and schedule performance of the EPCI Contractor.
- Report any contractual deviations by the EPCI contractor.
- Participate in the analysis of technical issues identified on-site, in collaboration with the engineering teams in Paris.
- Provide operational management and coordination for all RTE resources working at the yard, including interventions by the MWS and certification body.
- Supervise and coordinate daily work and inspections at the yard according to ITP (Inspection Test Plan), specifications, standards, etc., liaising with the Site Quality Inspection team.
Required Profile:
- Significant experience in managing yard/shipyard construction work.
- Experience in activities related to steel manufacture for offshore projects.
